In commercial kitchens, washrooms and lab spaces the sealant is part of the hygiene system. We use the product the specification calls for, colour-matched to grout or finishes, and leave joints smooth so they can be cleaned.

Stone copings and brick piers
Joints under copings and between stone and brick need to stay flexible without staining. We use non-staining sealants on natural stone, the same approach we’re taking on the stone façade at the new City of London law courts at Salisbury Square.
Failed mortar or mastic is cut out first, so the new sealant bonds to sound material.

Cambridge sealant questions
Do you seal commercial, lab and office buildings in Cambridge?
Yes. We seal curtain walling and glazing, cladding, movement joints and internal joints after the fit-out trades, including hygienic and food-safe sealants where they’re specified. RAMS are available on request and we work to your site rules and inductions.
Can you work on older and listed buildings?
Yes. On stone, older brick and lime mortar we use compatible, non-staining, low-modulus products and keep the work neat. Consent for listed buildings is the owner’s responsibility, and we’ll work to whatever is agreed.

How do you deal with city-centre access and parking?
