Who we are

A builder’s eye. A specialist’s hand.

Pioneer Sealants Ltd is a Bedford-based mastic and silicone sealant company run by Director Robert Petrisor Andries.

Robert has spent 20 years in construction, and the last 10 of them doing one thing: sealant. In 2020 he set up Pioneer Sealants Ltd to give homeowners, builders and main contractors a sealant specialist they can rely on. Today our work runs from family bathrooms and kitchen worktops to movement joints on precast concrete cores, sealed from a boom lift.

We’re proud to be sealing the external window frames on the new City of London law courts at Salisbury Square, just off Fleet Street, where every joint between the stone façade and the frames has to be perfect. On a building like that, every joint is inspected and every detail has to last. It’s the same standard we bring to every bathroom, kitchen and new build across Bedford, London and the towns in between.

How we work

Strip it right out
Old sealant comes out completely. We never run new silicone over old: it fails fast.
Prep the joint
Cleaned, dried and primed where needed, with backer rod so the joint is the right depth.
Right product for the joint
Sanitary silicone in wet areas, low-modulus on movement joints, fire-rated where specified, lime-compatible on old buildings.
Tidy and on time
We turn up when we say, protect your space and leave a straight, clean line and a clean site.
