Bedfordshire’s biggest town
Luton grew on hat-making and later on car manufacturing, and it’s now the largest town in Bedfordshire, with a university, a big shopping centre and its own busy commercial core.
St Mary’s, one of the largest parish churches in the county, stands on the edge of the town centre. Around it are Victorian streets in High Town and Bury Park, inter-war and post-war estates such as Stopsley, Limbury and Marsh Farm, and newer homes at Wigmore and Bramingham.

The joints people forget
The joint between a window head and a soffit or cladding is easy to miss and hard to reach once the scaffold has gone. We make sure it’s sealed while access is there, so it doesn’t turn into a leak later.
