Post-war new town, modern problems
Harlow's neighbourhoods were planned in the 1950s and 60s, and much of their original sealant is long past its best.

Resealing precast concrete and movement joints
Many Harlow blocks are built from precast panels with sealant joints between them. Over decades the original mastic hardens, cracks and lets rain behind the panels, which leads to damp flats and stained walls.
We cut out old joints, clean and prime the edges, fit backer rod to the right depth and reseal with a durable low-modulus polyurethane or polysulphide sealant. We work from MEWPs or scaffold with RAMS in place.
