Mastic Man Barnet: Finchley, Hendon & Edgware Sealant

The biggest borough in north London, and the closest to Bedford

Barnet starts where the A1 and M1 enter London, so it is a short run from our Bedford base and one of the boroughs we work in most.

Much of the borough is family housing: Edwardian and inter-war homes in Finchley, Hendon, Golders Green and Hampstead Garden Suburb, and larger detached houses in Totteridge, Arkley and Mill Hill. Here our work is window and door mastic, bathroom and shower resealing, kitchen sealant and extensions with large glazed doors.

At Colindale, Brent Cross Town and Mill Hill East there are big regeneration schemes with apartment blocks going up phase by phase, which need plot mastic, façade joints and internal silicone for contractors and developers.

Chipping Barnet, with St John the Baptist church at the top of the High Street, has older brick and flint buildings where we use low-modulus, non-staining sealant and careful masking.

Resealing that stays clean in busy family bathrooms

In a family home the shower and bath silicone gets a hard life. We strip it out, kill the mould, let the joint dry and reseal with a sanitary silicone, so it stays white for longer.

For high-end bathrooms in Totteridge and Hampstead Garden Suburb we match the sealant to marble, stone or coloured tiles and finish the joints to a fine line.

As a sealant specialist and sealant contractor across London, we also seal expansion joints, cladding and shopfronts around Finchley, Hendon and Edgware with polyurethane or polysulphide sealant and backer rod, re-mastic blocks for managing agents, and handle snagging on new builds. For mastic sealant in Barnet, window mastic in Barnet or shower resealing in Barnet, including en-suite and draught problems round old doors, one call covers it. RAMS and insurance documents are available for site work.
